Background

My passion is making digital experiences intuitive and functional. From websites to mobile apps and everything responsive in between, I consider the user's perspective and marry it with the company's goals and requirements.

With 22 years’ experience in digital communication, my extensive interactive background encompasses both the graphic and the UX perspective. My career began as a Designer, eventually moving into a Creative Director role. As I realized my focus was primarily on usability, I transitioned into a User Experience Designer / Information Architect. This creative background makes me uniquely positioned to champion the needs of the user while providing a dynamic online experience. This delicate balance has been evident in the work I've produced for agencies, including TracyLocke, imc2, Click Here, agency.com, Rockfish Interactive, and RAPP, as well as my own company, Deep River Design.

Ideas are my forte. I love colloborating in a team environment because more brains are better than one. Everyone brings a unique perspective to the table and those viewpoints need to be heard and considered. In addition to managing teams, I play well with others.

I've worked on the user experience design for a number of groundbreaking and award-winning projects, including Pizza Hut’s original iPhone App, Verizon's Visual Interactive Calling, GSK’s alli and alliCircles community, Procter & Gamble’s Secret Antiperspirant web presence, Campbell Soup Company’s Campbell’s Community, and ABC’s Monday Night Football.

My work includes marquee brands such as Pizza Hut, Verizon, Samsung, P&G, Secret, Fruit of the Loom, T.G.I. Friday's, GameStop, GSK, Iams, Eukanuba, Hewlett Packard, Bank of America, Omni Hotels, Blockbuster, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Valvoline, the Art Institutes, 3M, Campbell Soup Company, ABC’s Monday Night Football, and Pepperidge Farms.
